FFC cable (Data transmission cable)
FFC cable is also known as flexible Flat cable (FFC). The number and spacing of wires can be selected arbitrarily to make the wiring more convenient, greatly reduce the volume of electronic products, reduce production costs and improve production efficiency. It is most suitable for data transmission cable between moving parts and motherboard, PCB board to PCB board, and miniaturized electrical equipment. Common specifications are 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.25mm, 1.27mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.54mm and other spacing flexible cables.
Technical parameters of FFC:
Number of conductors N: number of copper conductors in the row.
Pitch P: distance between the center lines of two adjacent conductors;
Edge distance M: distance between the center line of the outermost conductor and the edge of the row line;
Full Pitch TP: distance between the center lines of the outermost two conductors, TP=P* (N-1);
Total width W: distance between two edges of the row, W=P* (N+1);
Total length TL: distance between two ends of a row;
Insertion thickness TT: the thickness of the two connecting ends of the cable.
Length of wire opening: The average length of the exposed conductor in the longitudinal direction;
Application:
Widely used in all kinds of printer printing head and motherboard connection, plotter, scanner, copier, audio, LCD electrical appliances, fax machines, all kinds of video players and other products signal transmission and board connection. In modern electrical equipment, almost everywhere.
Common models are as follows:
Type A: the two ends are connected and the reinforcing board is pasted on the insulating adhesive paper;
Type B: the reinforcing plate is directly pasted on the insulating adhesive paper;
Type C: the reinforcement plate at both ends is directly pasted on the conductor;
Type D: the two ends of the reinforcing plate is directly pasted on the conductor;
Type E: one end of the reinforcing plate is pasted on the insulating tape, the other end is tinned;
Type F: the reinforcing plates at both ends are directly pasted on the insulating adhesive paper, and the inner half is peeled off.
Type G: direct tinned at both ends.
